Carrots and apples are two of my favorite ingredients to juice partly because I always have them on hand for spur of the moment juicing, but also because they are just simply more water dense, so a little goes a long way. To create more depth to the juice I like to add in 2 or more types of apples to get the different unique flavors each can offer.
I typically will juice a more sour variety like a granny smith along with a more sweet type like a golden delicious or any number of red types that are sweeter. If you really want to get crazy, try finding the heirloom carrots that come in a wide variety of colors ranging from yellow to dark purple! If this entire juice is a bit sweet you can add a little water to it or serve over ice.
1 Red Apple
1 Golden Delicious Apple
1 Granny Smith Apple
3 large carrots
Wash and process the ingredients as you normally would and for what fits best I your particular juicer. Add the ingredients in any order you wish. Add a touch of water or serve over ice if you want to water down the juice a bit.
