If you are looking for a nutrient dense, super low calorie juicing recipe for a detox or if you are juicing for weight loss, here is very simple recipe. Not a lot of taste going on with this recipe, however that is not the goal of this recipe. This is also a great electrolyte replacement juice because of high levels of minerals in the celery.

If this juice if too boring for your liking, you can add a bit of flavor, without adding too many calories by adding a little lemon or lime to the recipe. This also helps with the detoxing effect of this recipe.

Ingredients:

5-6 Celery stalks
1 cucumber
1/2 lemon (optional)
Directions:
Wash and process the ingredients as you typically would for your particular juicer. If you are adding lemon, peel the lemon so you are only adding the slices of lemon. Add the lemon and cucumber through the juicer first as the celery can tend to clog up some juicers which might prevent optimum juicing of the other ingredients.
