Whether you are juicing for weight loss or looking for new recipes to add to detox or juice cleanse program, here is a very simple recipe to add to your list. Cucumbers are fabulously cleansing and low in sugar and calories so great for helping you achieve your weight loss goals. The lemon is not only there to help brighten up the cucumber juice flavor, but is also a “go to” ingredient for most cleanses.

This juice is also alkalizing and just an amazing daily juice recipe as it is not loaded with sugar and so simple to make. If you already love squeezing fresh lemon into your water, this is a great way to enhance the nutrient value with the cucumber.

Ingredients:

1 large cucumber (more or less depending on much yield)
1/2 lemon
1/2 cup water (optional)
Directions:

Wash and prep the ingredients as you typically would and for what fits best in your juicer. Peel the lemon and only put the lemon wedges through the juicer. You can add a little water to stretch out the juice or dilute the lemon a bit more if it is too strong for you.
