Here is a healthy green juice recipe that works great for detoxing or cleansing juice programs. It is nutrient dense with the leafy greens but also has a nice balance of sweetness to help offset any potential bitterness in greens. You can use any leafy greens, but I like to use spinach as it’s easily available organic and has a mild taste.

Strawberries are the star sweetener of this recipe and adds a unique flavor if you do not commonly juice strawberries. The cucumber helps to stretch out the recipe and keeps the calories lower in general if you are juicing for weight loss.

Ingredients:

1 cucumber
4 large handfuls of spinach
2 cups of strawberries
1/2 lime
Directions:
Wash and process the ingredients as you typically would and for what fits best in your juicer. Add the spinach first so the rest of the ingredients push the spinach juice through. Add the strawberries and cucumbers next. Peel the lime and just add the slices through the juicer.
