This low calorie recipe is great whether you are juicing for weight loss or doing a juice cleanse. The cucumber and kale add a lot of nutrients without adding much sugar or excessive calories. The addition of mint adds a nice twist and boost of flavor to the otherwise more subtle and slightly bitterness of the kale.

This is also a great cleansing recipe as these ingredients are fantastic for helping the body detox. The kale is particularly vitamin and mineral dense which will help to keep your cravings in check and will help support your weight loss goals.

Ingredients:

1 cucumber
5 large stalks of kale
4 sprigs of mint (more or less to taste)
Directions:

Wash and process the ingredients as you typically would and for what fits best in your juicer. Add the mint and kale first and let the water dense cucumber push all the wonderful leafy greens juice through. Serve on ice for a refreshing treat.
