Sometimes I like to punch up my orange juice with the cleansing cousins of the orange, the lemon and lime. Try to find a more sweet variety of orange to help offset the sour of the lemon and lime. Think of the orange as adding the sugar that makes lemons into lemonade. The addition of the lemon and lime reduces the calorie count if you are juicing for weight loss and helps with detoxing.


3 oranges (sweeter the better)
½ lemon
½ lime


Wash and prepare the orange, lemon and lime as you typically would. If you are using a traditional juicer, you can peel the citrus fruits and put the appropriate amount of slices into the juicer. If you have a citrus juicer, you can half the citrus fruits and squeeze of into the juicer.
