There are not many summertime juices that I love more than the wonderfully tart and sweet combo of pineapple and orange. If you have not juiced pineapple juice, you are in for a pleasant surprise as it is so much better than the pasteurized equivalent you find in the stores. The pasteurizing cooks the juice making it more thick and sugary, not fresh, light and delightfully sweet and tart.

Adding orange adds another layer of sweetness that compliments the fresh pineapple beautifully. You will love serving this juice over ice on a hot summer day.

1/2pineapple (remove rind and inner core)
2 oranges (peeled)

Wash and process the ingredients as you normally would and according to what fits best in your particular juicer. Remove the rind and core of the pineapple, and remove the skin from the oranges before putting through the juicer. Serve over ice for a wonderful treat.
