This Super Green Detox juicing recipe made with Spinach and Wheatgrass as the star ingredients, is a chlorophyll and nutrient dense juicing recipe whether you are looking for a great detox juice or juicing for weight loss. I help bulk up the juice by adding cucumber since both spinach and wheatgrass are not very water dense.

This recipe is definitely not for those with a sweet tooth, but if you find the right kind of wheatgrass, sometimes it can add a subtle sweetness to the final recipe. Either way, the cucumber helps water it down a bit so it’s not too strong.

Ingredients:

Wheatgrass (check out your local health food store for options)
Spinach (2 to 3 large handfuls)
1 medium to large cucumber
Directions:

Wash and prepare the ingredients as you typically would for your juicer. Depending on what source of wheatgrass you use, typically if you bought a flat, where the wheatgrass is still growing in the container, with a knife cut the amount of grass you would like to juice. I continue to add until I see about an ounce of juice produced. Then, move on to the spinach and follow by the cucumber to push all the other concentrated juice through.
