This summer Green Cleanse juice recipe is a great tasting yet cleansing juice recipe. Using apple as the base helps to sweeten the juice and mask some of the other slightly more bitter ingredients like the celery and spinach. Overall, these other more cleanse specific ingredients are more mild, so this makes for a delicious recipe that can be enjoyed over ice on a hot summer day.

This is also a great recipe if you are juicing for weight loss as it is relatively low calorie and low sugar. The Spinach, Celery and Cucumber add in tons of nutrients without adding the calorie count.

Ingredients:

2 Apples
1/2 cucumber
2 handfuls of spinach
4 stalks of celery
Directions:

Wash and process the ingredients as you normally would and what works best in your particular juicer. Add in the spinach first so that the rest of the ingredients can push the spinach juice through. I add the celery last as it is sometimes can clog up the juicer a bit because of the stringy nature of celery.
