Here is a super green juicing recipe that is great for if you are juicing for weight loss or if you are doing a juice cleanse. The chlorophyll in this recipe is alkalizing and is great for cleansing your blood. The chlorophyll in this recipe comes from the spinach and parsley.

This juice is not very sweet so you might want to serve it over ice to have a refreshing cleansing experience. You can swap the spinach for kale, but I find that spinach helps keep the recipe less bitter for being so greens dense. You can also add a bit of lemon to this recipe to brighten up the recipe.


1 large cucumber
4 handfuls of spinach
1 cup of parsley
1/4 lemon (optional)

Wash and process the ingredients as you typically would and for what fits best into your juicer. Add the parsley first and then spinach so the cucumber can help wash all the juice of the leafy greens through. Peel and add a couple slices of lemon if you choose. Server over ice and enjoy.
