This tomato basil cleanse is a wonderfully rich and decadent juicing recipe to add to your detox cleansing recipes. The tomato adds a sweetness that will help to keep down your cravings if you are juicing for weight loss, while still being a wonderful source of nutrients for a great cleanse. The basil is one of those greens that are actually packed with vitamins and cleansing nutrients.

I like to add in some other greens into this recipe like spinach and some cucumber to help water down the tomato juice a bit. The added spinach really helps this juice become a nutrient dense power juice.


5 Tomatoes
2 handfuls of spinach
1 cup of basil
1/2 cucumber
Wash and process the ingredients as you normally would and for what works best in the juicer. Add in the basil and spinach first so the rest of the more water dense ingredients will help wash through these ingredients. Add the tomatoes and cucumber in next and enjoy.
