If you are craving something sweet, but are juicing for weight loss, this recipe is a great option. The sweetness in the recipe comes from the yellow bell peppers and tomato and the calories are kept in check with cucumber. Cucumber is my go to ingredient to help “water down” the juice a bit and lower the overall calories.

You can use red bell pepper or yellow bell pepper to get similar sweetness, however I try to use yellow to have some of the “yellow” antioxidants because I already have the “red” tomato in the recipe. The cucumber represents the “green” antioxidants in the recipe so I know I’m getting a wider variety of nutrients.

Ingredients:

1 Cucumber
2 Tomatoes
1 Yellow Bell Pepper
Directions:
Wash and process your ingredients as you typically would and for what fits best in your juicer. The cucumbers and tomatoes you can put through as you normally would. I usually cut off the stem from the bell pepper before putting through.
