Using a BMI Calculator, or Body Mass Index Calculator, is a way to determine you Body Mass Index value. The most common use of the BMI is to evaluate how much an individual’s body weight fluctuates from what is considered normal for a person of his or her height.

The forumla is quite simple for Calculating your BMI.

Pounds and inches Formula:
weight (lb) / [height (in)]2 x 703

Calculate BMI by dividing weight in pounds (lbs) by height in inches (in) squared and multiplying by a conversion factor of 703.

Kilograms and meters (or centimeters) Formula:
weight (kg) / [height (m)]2

Calcualte BMI by dividing weight in kilograms (kg) by height in meters (m) squared.
